An old phrase signifying in the Dutch style or manner: Dutch-like: as, to drink upsee Dutch, to drink in the Dutch manner; that is, to drink deeply. "Drink me upsey-Dutch."-Beau. & Fl. Similarly UPSEE-FREEZE, in the Frisian manner. Beau & Fl. use the phrase Upsey-English-English-like. The liquor seems sometimes to be meant by these terms.
