The reliability of repairable items quantified as a basic measure. For computers, MTBF is called power on hours (POH). Duty cycles, time cycles, distance, events, and the like are known as life units. The average number of life units during which all device and system parts perform within their specified limits under specified conditions is averaged to obtain MTBF.

Dopamine Acetyltransferase
- An enzyme that catalyzes the of groups from acetyl-CoA to arylamines. They have wide specificity for aromatic amines, particularly serotonin, and can also catalyze acetyl transfer between arylamines without CoA. EC 2.3.1.5.
