Hydrocephalus externus, (F.) Hydrocephale, Hydrocephaloectasie of some, may exist at birth. Hydrenceph'olon, Hydrocephalus congen'itus seu adna'tus commonly commences at an early period of existence, and the accumulation of fluid gradually produces distension of the brain, and of the skull, with separation of the sutures. It commonly proves fatal before puberty.
