A Sicilian writer; born about 1643; died about 1708. He was doctor of theology, medicine, and laws, and took orders, but devoted much time to literature. He left "An Exposition of the Psalms of David", and an original poem, "A Brief Narrative of the Eruption of Mt. Etna in the Year 1669", published 1671.
