Professor David A Turner. One of the pioneers offunctional languages. He designed several languages,including, SASL (1976), KRC (1981), and Miranda, many ofwhich were implemented using combinators and the S-Kreduction machine which he defined.He coined the name "ZF expression" for the listcomprehension.He worked at UKC and set up a company, Research SoftwareLimited to market Miranda.
